Trip Planner: South America / Argentina / Litoral / Province of Misiones / San Ignacio / Historic Sites / Horacio Quiroga Home
Share in the life and times of a national institution and hero at Horacio Quiroga Home. The famous 19th- and 20th-century playwright, poet, and short story produced many nationally loved works. The pleasant walk through a sugarcane plantation leading to the house features small kiosks detailing Quiroga's life. Don't miss the chance to see some of his old possessions, which double as interesting period pieces: a camera, a bicycle, and even a butterfly collection.
