  • Ruins that are close to the city, so you get does not represent major drawback, is rather interesting turn and know a little about the residential traditions of native peoples. A pity that suffered theft the Museum and looting archaeological site. It is recommended to pass the time.

  • La ruta 40 is about to end: West you go in Chile. Still in the North, in Bolivia, along ravines and steep walls. The dirt always rises. Pueblitos lost in nothingness parading like ghosts.

  • The site archaeological village lost in the Gorge, occupies a plateau at 700 meters above sea level, in the area known as Quebrada del Tala, along the river of the same name. The lost people of the Creek represents a testimony of immense value that was the culture of "La Aguada" in its initial phase, more than 1,500 years ago. It's a set of more than 40 raised stone enclosures and roofs of mud or interwoven branches, grouped around a common space cake or corresponds to a society based on the agricultural economy, which prevented the erosion of the land through the construction of retaining walls and through dams, canals and irrigation ditches I did the water management. The culture developed it on terraces cultivation, dondeproducian corn, beans, potatoes, calabazasy other foods. Livestock is h the flame in fields or high areasmas breeding, which got wool, meat, leather, fat, bones and tendons. It was a center of processing of agricultural products, where they worked the llama wool to produce threads and possibly tissues. In addition, dyes were prepared, processed spices to preserve meats and ground food and pigments. There is evidence that there worked the leather, bones, horns and ornamental stones. The natural environment of the site is highlighted by the presence of large cacti, which in some cases, reach the 10 meters of height and several centuries old. Account with an interpretation centre that presents a reception area that serves as a tourist information center, a showroom and a laboratory, adding a deposit and restrooms. It is only 4 km to the West of the city of San Fernando in the Valley of Catamarca, located on a quite pronunciation Hill of the logging Creek, a few meters from the Municipal Spa.
