In most circumstances travelers avoid small, cramped rooms filled with bones, but at Museo del Lago Gutierrez that's exactly what visitors come for. Built thanks to the passion of Professor Rodolfo Pedro Corsolini, the private archeological museum houses a collection of around 10,000 fossils, rocks, and bones discovered in Patagonia. Have a chat with Professor Corsolini, who can usually be found on site, about the fascinating discoveries and what they tell us about the region. • We went there by bus, the trip lasted 45 minutes, arrived and was closed as it was Thursday 17:30 hs and was to be open according to the tourist report. Super disappointing.
