4.3/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web
Explore Cavernas del Viejo Volcan Parque Cerro Leones, three caverns inside an old volcano. The caverns are at an altitude of about 900 m (3,000 ft) and are reachable by a steep walkway. Once supposedly inhabited by the Tehuelche civilization, two of the caves are relatively easily accessed on foot. The third requires crouching through a narrow path that leads to a lagoon with a pool of fresh water. Climb just 87 m (285 ft) more to get to the top of the volcano and enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings. • It is a place located in Dina Huapi, a lovely town a few km from Bariloche. We went with my husband and just that day only had a school group doing the walk, so to be calmer gave us the tour for us. The place is very cute, has a beautiful panoramic view and can learn a lot from history. The guide we had Miguel, a genius. Highly recommended.

  • Live the experience of venturing into Caverns is not something every day. Here you can live in only 2 hours and a half. Ideal excursion for half a day.
