Trip Planner: South America / Argentina / Northern Argentina / Province of Salta / San Antonio de los Cobres / Sightseeing / San Antonio de los Cobres
Stop off at San Antonio de los Cobres to see the charming architecture of a remote settlement, and meet its equally charming residents. Snap photos of the simple, squat houses against the barren, mountainous backdrop. You'll get offered plenty of souvenirs during your visit, with much of the local industry now geared towards tourism. That said, the town offers authentic food, with a number of small restaurants and cafes serving local specialties.
