I think that you just have to make the trip if you want to have the photo typical of the train to the clouds, but not worth l apena. landscapes do not say anything, train in very slow and it does not add much. The people from where there's nothing.

I bought tickets online, they are not cheap but make discounts to senior citizens, and the trip worth it. The tour visited among other things: the town of Governor Quijano where the first locomotive, the Middle School of Alfarcito mountain, is where the boys specialize in tourism, and they offered us breakfast. We reached La Polvorilla at 4200 m, Tastil, their museum visit. It is a whole day full of surprises and things to meet very different from our reality. There is much assistance during the journey and in case we have a thermos with coca tea and we eat candy of coca that we bought at the station; the trip (despite my age) passed without problems

It was a disappointment and a silver gastadero, because you must reach sharing railway station, to split into microphones, the beautiful landscapes you the lose because there will be no stops, just appreciate the beauty landscape through the windows of the bus. to the bathroom stalls are mass and rush you the guides that warn you that worry because leave without you, the snack as promomicionada; two candies and a cookie with a glass of soda or coffee. The stop in the Alfarcito is brief, reception of lxs chicxs of home school was the best and your breakfast too, so touted stop in San Antonio of los cobres, with Museum and walk, etc. was a lie because they were delayed and hurry not we could do more than go to the bathroom. Finally the trip on the train to the clouds, renovated, clean, but quick, two seasons alone, there is no coplerxs or musicxs, coming to the end is short the time for taking photos. I wanted to make this experience but it was a huge disappointment, I recommend do it by land while they not re-establish the tour in full train.
