  • I came back after 40 years in this market located within walking distance from my house when I lived in Salta in the years 60 and 70 of the last century. Was the market where my mother went to the grocery store. Compared to those years became more chaotic, a little dirtier and more stations for the sale of fruit and vegetables, spices and butcher, appeared even sellers of other non-food products. Than ever before now there are a few places that offer local food at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

  • I was not comfortable. Too many people doesn't appreciate the posts. I didn't see the kindness that sees to the Salta reflected in this market where only qte asked that things you bought or ate at checkpoints insistently. The smell of them meals rather than pleasant was all it opposite. Very remarkable the lack of toilet.

  • personally always recommend bypassing the markets if one truly wants to try the local cuisine, and this is no exception. here can try from humita chala or Plato to a rich kid or buy it for making a barbecue in the field. Besides that you can also find an enormous amount of loose species that do not have waste and many beautiful hand-woven fabrics

  • The typical flea market where fruits, vegetables, spices, meats and fish not only can be found. Also some jobs meals. Very picturesque and traditional, but also with their strong smells typical. It is also an obligation to the city.
