  • The building is beautiful and that is only worthwhile, cross it and take to eat a rich pie in the Tearoom. On handicrafts, there are several groups of artisans who honestly presented their excellent works, but others are not just craftsmen only sellers... but bueh! There are many products in silver, alpaca, wool that are worth.

  • Very good place, shops offer very good quality items, according to the quality of the offered price. It's not cheap. Outside, in the side streets, there are other trades, lower prices and lower quality. Excellent typical restaurant. Good price, is no luxury. But he eats well.

  • Fun craft market. The setting is nice, in a very big of colonial building surrounded by green space. There are several shops offering, in my opinion, a lot of similar objects. The place is away from the center of town about 2 km. This isn't a place to be but a nice visit to do.

  • High quality, good prices
  • The place is good to have high-quality handicrafts. I went through the tourist bus coming from plaza 9 de julio. Unfortunately the driver of this bus recommends not to buy in the market of craftsmen. But in outside businesses. According to the are cheaper... Which is true, but outside are of very low quality.

  • Nice... care building. Many premises with good products and prices. Away from the Center, but can be accessed with local buses, line 5A, prior acquisition of local card SAETA, as the rises of Buenos Aires. Highly recommended trip.

  • A variety of handicrafts, not so much in sweets and wines! All impeccable and friendly. You have to go by car because it is away from the Centre, but at the turn I decided to walk to learn more about the ciudad😆

Where to stay in Salta

Salta's status as the tourist hub of northwestern Argentina means that a wide array of accommodations has sprung up throughout the city. The majority are concentrated around the city's grid-like center, surrounding Plaza 9 de Julio. For something more relaxed and closer to nature, go southeast and explore the area around Parque San Martin. You can opt for anything from a healthy range of budget accommodations, including hostels and small guesthouses, all the way to luxury hotels.
