(4.1/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
Enjoy an elegant meal, sample regional wines, or sip on a Pisco sour at Castillo de San Lorenzo, an Italian-built castle dating back over a century. The medieval-style structure dates back to the late 19th century, when Luigi Bartoletti (married to a lady of Salta) commissioned a residence in the "castello" style of his native Italy. Nowadays it functions as a hotel, with a luxurious restaurant, bar, and cafe. To visit Castillo de San Lorenzo on your trip to Salta, use our Salta itinerary maker.

  • excellent place to go to eat. Very good service and attention. The place is majestic, makes believe to one that is in any place of Europe. If are of ride by the broken I recommend at least go to take a coffee. The prices are quite affordable.

  • I booked in advance and, upon arrival, there was no armed table, literally there was no table or chairs to sit down or people who attend, seeking reception and we had to wait for any employee to appear and they had no idea of our reservation, we had to wait that the girl had time until they crossword a giant table when we were only 2 people, was uncomfortable. We call soft drinks and a plate with lomo Malbec for each one, they only had 1 Fanta or Sprite or flavored waters, they had no more drinks in full lunch (13.30 h) schedule, the tenderloin was rich but not at the required point, we could not enjoy the place with so much history and popularity due to poor care and neglect toward the diner.

  • We arrived and had a snack in the place of tales... My children and husband wanted to stay in this beautiful place. The truth is that if you like the old you will be amazed it is a castle adapted to that time, I loved the fireplace. And very good and cordial, was so that we return to the days and had lunch.

  • Excellent place. We stayed one night. The incredible attention. We spent hours of dinner and however we brought food to the room. Humble, attention amazing. It is worth passing by this place where the story is beautiful. Thank you very much for welcoming us!

  • I was not in the hotel restaurant. The place and the atmosphere beautiful. Good attention. The bad thing was that they had nothing to take the you. We asked a smoothie, had two fruits. Only two cakes. Or cooked for a toasted ham. When we pay did not change. In full season are things that should not happen.
