Explore a popular and entertaining urban attraction at Parque Urquiza, located at the southeastern end of the city center. Pay a visit to the onsite observatory and planetarium, and walk between the many statues and sculptures, including a monument to General Urquiza-president of the Argentine Confederation from 1854 to 1860--after whom the park is named. Attractive fountains, public art, and an abundance of sports fields and recreation areas make this a good option for those wanting to have a break from the busy city life. If you were in doubt with which places visit in Rosario, the Parque Urquiza has to be on the list. The Planetarium and the River on one side, and the urban life on the other, its plants, its trees, the biggest, basketball and shuffleboard courts and the placita of games for the kids. But not only is its circular shape, the Park extends his arm by Mendoza/Liberty Street and cannot be cuter!View original -

Live a half block from the Park and it is a pleasure to walk it from early morning through the trees that inhabit it. Children enjoy the cale sita, including ring, and can be enjoyed a rich coffee in the bars around. The view of the river is beautiful and there are benches for rest of the hike, would it require more dedication of the municipality to keep the same in good clean condition and of the citizens take care of it because a is an important lung of the city.View original -

You can exercise and have mate here. It's not crowded like others. Con: you can barely see the river, lots of dog poo and pee.
-
Cosy park close to the Rosario Port Terminal.
