Nature / Park Must See
Lose yourself in a sea of green without leaving the center of Santa Fe at Parque Independencia. Containing several important museums, as well as the city's rose garden, the park also features conspicuous Roman columns and a green lake, a constant hive of activity. Take a boat across the lake or simply sit on its shores and watch local life float by. Make sure you find the calendar garden, where every day groundskeepers replant the flowers to spell out the date. Parque Independencia is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, Rosario Edition.

  • Is the first Park of Rosario and the main green area of the city, houses an artificial lake, a rosedal, sculptures and fountains, a calendar where every evening the gardeners modify the construction sites to show the day of the year and date. Is located in the Park the Museum Municipal de Bellas Artes Juan b. Castagnino and one of the city's football clubs, the Newell's Old Boys. Great for walks with family, rest or to enjoy all that the Park offers. It is worth renting a bike and do the tour pedaling.

  • A beautiful park to visit and it has a small lake where you can sail in boat
  • Bellisimo!!
  • A totally beautiful and recommended Park to visit in family, couple or single. At night you can see the magical waters dancers, music and lights. You can take a stroll in pedal boats (maximum 3 people) at a great price or guided boat. Ducks can be seen in the artificial lake. It's simply magical.

  • It was while the family not walking by our beloved independence Park and the truth that was very pleased to find it so beautiful with new playgrounds, more lighting and very clean. The only thing it missed to be rated 5 stars was that we did not see the presence of security personnel and that in a place so crowded is important. Happy to return to stroll through our beloved Park family... good life and health!

  • It is one of the most beautiful Rosario. The most traditional. The rose garden, French garden and the Lake area are the most beautiful. For the perfect guys to see geese, fish and doves within walking distance and the children's Garden, a place for all ages. To the late-afternoon, recommendable waters show dancing in the Lake.

Where to stay in Rosario

Crowding around the city center, most accommodations in Rosario sit within a few minutes' walk of the Parana River's west bank. Budget options remain plentiful in the central districts, with an array of hostels catering to Rosario's younger visitors. Boutique hotels offer something for mid-range travelers, while luxury accommodations are relatively rare. If you want something quieter, consider the neighborhood of Del Abasto, south of the city center.
