Specialty Museum Museum
Appreciate one of the architectural and cultural jewels of Rosario's historical center at Museo Municipal de Arte Decorativo Firma y Odilo Estévez, a museum and gallery located in the former home of the Estevez family. Donated to the city in 1968 by Dona Mayor Estevez--in tribute to her late husband, Odilo--the museum collects works accrued by the family and displays them within the mansion's Italianate rooms. Admire the variety of works on display, including European paintings, jewelry, and textiles from across the globe. Head to the room at the very back of the building to see temporary exhibits. Where to stay in Rosario

Crowding around the city center, most accommodations in Rosario sit within a few minutes' walk of the Parana River's west bank. Budget options remain plentiful in the central districts, with an array of hostels catering to Rosario's younger visitors. Boutique hotels offer something for mid-range travelers, while luxury accommodations are relatively rare. If you want something quieter, consider the neighborhood of Del Abasto, south of the city center.

  • This museum is a real treasure and is situated in Plaza 25 de Mayo, just near the consulate of Spain. This place used to be a home of a rich person, who arrived to Rosario in 1920s and bought that man...  more »
  • Almost unnoticed, contrasts his style on the Plaza 25 de Mayo, a clear example of the opulent colonial pos of a city hidden behind walls an elite life. It is worth making a visit and a trip in the time to see how he lived a wealthy family.
