  • Monument inaugurated in 1957 commemorating the creation of the flag, in the place that was hoisted for the first time on February 27, 1812 by Gral. Manuel Belgrano. It is built in travertine marble and represents "La Patria" as an imaginary ship La Proa: remember the "may revolution of 1810". The Tower of 70 meters high with a viewpoint that can be accessed by elevators and from where you can see much of the city of Rosario, the Paraná River and the Islands. It has also two sculptures that symbolize the homeland bearer (towards the river) and the motherland (towards the civic courtyard). Two Colossi representing the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Paraná River and two bronze sculptures by the Andes and pampas. The civic courtyard: their stairways represent the idea of a slow but sure rise and the effort of the Patriots toward the Organization of the State, with its battles, agreements and covenants. The Propylon triumphant: symbolizes "the nation organized" starting from 1953 with the sanction of the Constitution national and tribute to the Gral. José de San Martín. There are two galleries with sculptures of the great homeland American (American Indian, Colonial America, the constitutional and the future America). Between his columns a votive lamp pays tribute to those who gave their lives for the homeland. A crypt underneath the tower with a cross and facing it a sculpture of the Gral. Manuel Belgrano. It was the place for the remains of the Gral. Belgrano, but by an order his its remains today rest in the mausoleum located in the front of the Church of Na. Ms. del Rosario at the intersection of the AV. Belgrano and Defensa street of the city of Buenos Aires, a few metres from the House. Gallery of the flags of America: with them symbols official of all them Nations of America with their flags, shields, hymns and flowers national that symbolizes the brotherhood of the Nations free of America.
