(4.7/5 based on 3,800+ reviews on the web)
Erected in memory of Manuel Belgrano, the man who created Argentina's flag, Monumento a la Bandera (Flag Monument) cuts a striking figure in Rosario's skyline. Consisting of a 70 m (230 ft) tower, a courtyard, and column-style monument, the complex celebrates Argentinean independence, obtained in the early 19th century. Make sure you check out the small underground museum, which explains the flag's history and provides other information about Latin American countries. • Ideal for touring in the afternoon rather than lower the flag and before that shut off water supplies. Sometimes there are artistic exhibitions. The view from the front, across the street is very good. At night it is very dark.

  • Regarding Rosario by nature. A beautiful place to meet, with the river just steps from there. The view from the observation deck is very nice. Below is the Hall of flags, it is worth visiting it. The only against is that in that area (as well as many parts of the Argentina) is always filled with "rags cuidacoches".

  • Impossible not to visit the monument to the flag if you visit Rosario, an icon of the city. Its spacious stairways, its architecture, its views and the historical value of this site ranks it as a place of exception.
