  • It is a cemetery to be considered by architectural and town-planning traditions of European influence. It is a large site between streets Ov. Lakes, Av. Pellegrini, Av. Godoy and Av. France, being currently in a position that could be called macrocentro of the city, within the Parque Independencia and Newells court yards. It is traditional for the construction of family cemeteries of architectural value. It can be considered from an artistic, historical and cultural heritage that make it an ideal space to be visited. But to be clear: for those who have interests in these areas. It does not to be a popular attraction, not the first thing to do in Rosario. .

  • El Salvador stands as a monumental cemetery under the influence of European architectural and town-planning traditions. It occupies 5 hectares covered by the Ov streets. Lakes, Av. Pellegrini, Av. Godoy and Av. France, where there are more than 50,000 graves, an estimated. In this venue, family mausoleums of great architectural value building became popular since the end of the 19th century. Thus, the necropolis has an artistic heritage, historical and cultural that make it an ideal space for the development of activities offering local and foreign audiences a reminder of characters and past experiences valued by the community. Currently the cemetery El Salvador has an artistic and historical heritage worthy of rescue, enhance and disseminate to the Rosario and visitors to the city. In this regard, in addition to the services provided by a cemetery, joined those of dye cultural offering visitors tours that rescue part of our history.

Where to stay in Rosario

Crowding around the city center, most accommodations in Rosario sit within a few minutes' walk of the Parana River's west bank. Budget options remain plentiful in the central districts, with an array of hostels catering to Rosario's younger visitors. Boutique hotels offer something for mid-range travelers, while luxury accommodations are relatively rare. If you want something quieter, consider the neighborhood of Del Abasto, south of the city center.
