Cuesta del Viento Dam, Rodeo

(4.2/5 based on 90 reviews on the web)
The picturesque bay and pristine waves make Cuesta del Viento Dam a visual splendor, but it is the extremely high winds in the area that attract scores of amateur and experienced windsurfers to this beach. The first thing you'll notice here are those winds, which don't seem to bother the carefree people out on the waves. Don't fret if you've never tried the sport before: classes for beginners are available along the beach. Other activities include guided horseback tours of the area, mud therapy, or simply appreciating the surrounding jagged landscape. Plan your Cuesta del Viento Dam visit and explore what else you can see and do in Rodeo using our Rodeo holiday planner.

  • a beautiful place, the way to get generate adrenaline, unsuitable for impressionable, the return is much more relaxed, it is a place to go early, since after midday rises windy, very good place for fishing or water sports.

  • Great place hard wind! 15 years ago that I'm going and I hope to keep going. There are many tourist things to know and if you like the water and the water sports you can not miss this Lake!

  • It's at the end of the world, the Lake is small and salty, is to pass by car or motorbike (my case) to chile. Turned fashion place to kite surfing or windsurfing. HA places closer and more beautiful. Avoid
