  • After doing the Ullum dam, our guide takes us into the Zonda Department. We navigate a bridge and find ourselves at the entrance to a cave that was an old gold mine that leads into the Hill. Here we are at the Museum. We are welcomed by a nice old man who dedicated his entire life, probably by himself, to study our world from Pangea to present day. In the right tunnel featured fossils are exposed, algae, sea urchins and a bunch of various exhibits, outside the southern Whale bones, stuffed animals and showcases all catalogued. . Right vent in human history in its various steps darwinians. But the special thing about this museum patchy "do it yourself" is the passion and enthusiasm of his keeper.

  • Its location is fantastic! Inside a tunnel. This feature provides an atmosphere suitable for the interesting exhibits; Botany, zoology, paleontology and archaeology. Is a beautiful and curious time travel. I recommend.

  • Half an hour from San Juan capital, can be reached with the Group 23 (1 / 2 hour trip) to the Quebrada de Zonda and the tunnels that are in these mountains. There should find fossils, stones, skeletons and all kinds of oddities framed in the caverns, which the Museum gives a singular air! Who is in charge of the Museum is an amazing character that could be me talking hours (in fact on my return find info about it and found a note: http://www.tiempodesanjuan.com/notas/2013/2/20/domingo-castro-loco-caverna-27208.asp do not miss it!)

  • The Truth excellent place. A geographical museum that has everything, but not the space it deserves. I wish the government of San Juan would recognize it as such and can make it grow so that more tourists know its origins and the history of our land!!!

  • Good museum inside the caves. There are a few ways to then climb up the mountain where the caves are and see the scenery but the road is badly cared for, broken steps and half dangerous rocky terrain.

  • Very nice place, attended by the same owner who with so much effort managed to lift that.. I recommend it!!!

  • Very nice museum is located inside the mountain and the historian without words is a genius

  • Maintenance is lacking. The signage is very poor. Need to invest budget and trained staff!
