Caleta Valdes, Puerto Piramides
(4.6/5 based on 100 reviews on the web)
Keep your eyes peeled for marine wildlife and sea mammals at Caleta Valdes, a beach area with the appropriate climate and geographic conditions to shelter various species. Enjoy sweeping views of the beach from one of several lookout points, which offer panoramic perspectives over the azure seas, backed by verdant cliffsides. Droves of elephant seals and Magellanic penguins live in the area, a reserve started in 1983 in order to protect these species, and others. Sea lions and birds also call this area home at various times of the year. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Puerto Piramides holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Caleta Valdes and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Point to observe a small population of penguins of Magellan and their offspring. It is in the middle of nowhere, and doesn't demand much observation.

  • It is those places visiting them when enough is enough. This is located a small colony of Magellanic penguins which you can bring a few meters. To be a protected area you can not enjoy the beach and water since access is not allowed.

  • Infinite views of the exceptional colors one sees too much elephants but we could touch the penguins is a magical place
