Categories: Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 90+ reviews on the web
Keep your eyes peeled for marine wildlife and sea mammals at Caleta Valdes, a beach area with the appropriate climate and geographic conditions to shelter various species. Enjoy sweeping views of the beach from one of several lookout points, which offer panoramic perspectives over the azure seas, backed by verdant cliffsides. Droves of elephant seals and Magellanic penguins live in the area, a reserve started in 1983 in order to protect these species, and others. Sea lions and birds also call this area home at various times of the year. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Puerto Piramides holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Caleta Valdes and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Until you reach the Caleta Valdez, you will appreciate the landscape and the different animals native place. You'll find penguins (depending on you time fences) and sea lions. What you plays in against, and what us affected to us, is that not there is signal in the area and is us had been the auto therefore not could call to nobody or do nothing except if is that passed someone (but pass very few people)

  • The place is wonderful. You arrive by car, going quiet dirt road that constantly is in maintenance.

  • It is about 70 km from Puerto Pirámides for gravel (well maintained road). It is an ideal area to watch penguins and elephant seals. Very picturesque, natural beauty. The bad thing is that the coffee was not open and there was no where to fill the water heater so they go with everything from pyramids.
