Specialty Museum
Discover more about the history of Patagonia's first colonial settlers at Museo del Desembarco, dedicated to the Welsh immigrants who landed in the region in 1865. These initial 153 men, women, and children built settlements as they moved; today, the museum stands on one of those sites. As you tour the collection, pay special attention to the boarding list of the Velero Mimosa, the boat used for the expedition, as well as details on the reasons for this migration and how many ultimately survived the gruelling trip. • is a museum small, the lady that charged the entrance makes a review and replied them questions that you did. it sees this fact despite being modest, and Lung in the could recreate what was the Welsh settlement, information that we completed with the reading of a book we bought there

  • On this site you will be able not only to know the history of the place, but that you can also visit the caves where people lived in Wales when I arrive at the coast of Patagonia.
