  • Difficult to find and about 15 blocks from the Center. It is not a museum per se, but it seems more a Foundation (though isn't it). Consists of a huge closed shed where it is filled with display cabinets which presents different precious stones and semi precious zone, raw and polished. I was impressed by the explanations provided by the owner of the place, who is dedicated to bring to street kids and teach the craft to work stones and metals. I could see about sapphires, diamonds, jade and other stones that I don't remember the name. I could TOUCH some stones with visible veins of gold and silver, a meteorite, a fossilized tree volcanic lava transformed in obsidian, and fossilized remains of dinosaur popo. The truth is that I loved it. To make matters worse, free.

  • As the title, apart from the gems and stones of all kinds, the good work that they carried out with street kids is faulosa. They teach them a trade so that the boys can work. Don't forget to visit it and talk with the Chaco which is a genius which makes. Unfortunately this little-touted but worth it!
