Familiarize yourself with the rich indigenous culture of the Guarani at La Aripuca. This cultural park serves as a tribute to the ancient Guarani tribes living in Argentina. A central pyramid-like structure designed in the shape of a bird trap (or arapuca) showcases the ingenious use of local resources to build important devices. Take a short guided tour to learn how the Guarani people created their tools, and what they used them for. You can buy genuine local handicrafts made by Guarani people at the park's souvenir stalls. • An interesting concept but reduced to being a series of tourist shops within each structure. A peaceful place to cover from the heat and see something a bit different.  more »

  • I loved this place, it's quaint, lots to look at, nice people, products made by the natives from the area, short tour, short walk from a few hotels.
  • Great for cultural sightseeing. Knowing local Indian culture.
  • This is a huge replica of the Indian animal trap built in different species of very old trees. They have a restaurant and souvenirs and don't forget to try their mate ice cream and rosella ice cream!
  • Cute place with trees native, there is only business to buy things, the introductory lecture lasts a minute as he says that gives it and then one runs only. I do not think that it would pay back the input (90$) just to buy things. All very neat and pleasant ways to hang out

  • Very good. Helps raise awareness of the destruction of nature that humans do. Worth tasting the cream of Yerba Mate.
