Hito de Las Tres Fronteras Argentina, Puerto Iguazu

(3.4/5 based on 3,600+ reviews on the web)
Set foot on the meeting point of three countries--Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil--at Hito de Las Tres Fronteras Argentina. Marked by a monument, the tri-border area sits at the junction of the Iguazu and Parana rivers. The area has become a bit of a tourist trap, with plenty of gimmicky souvenir stalls and artisan markets. From your vantage point in Argentina, look out over the expanses of Brazil and Paraguay, perhaps the next destinations on your journey. Hito de Las Tres Fronteras Argentina is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Puerto Iguazu Edition.

  • A typical and picturesque place which can not fail to visit. It was completely renovated, the Obelisk they joined a walk of artisans, a viewpoint, towers from stainless steel with inscriptions of allegorical place, a "show" of waters information dancers and colored lights.

  • Have added a show night of water dancing with projections of images on the water that is formidable. The place is a classic of the area.

  • The Hito de las Fronteras 3 is a very, very nice, with a beautiful view of the triple frontier, the landmark itself, fountain, shops of souvenirs and craft, square. We went at night, there were a lot of people, families with children, good and safe environment. The source was connected with the games. And all this without paying anything, much more relaxed than the Democratic side.

  • Landmark of the three frontiers. You can see Brazil and Paraguay on the other shores. There's a nice fountain and a artisanship market. If you are walking don't take the road on the right because it's too steep. Take the avenue instead.
  • I was at this beautiful view point around 20 o'clock to watch the wonderful sunset! Afterwards I saw the light show which was awesome!!!
  • Best benchmark plaza of the three countries. Souvenirs, dancing waters with coloured lights at night. The panoramic view is also the best.
  • :) beautiful
  • Good views of Paraguay and Brazil from this monument. Around sunset the fountain is set to music.
