Bosque de Arrayanes, Province of Rio Negro

Walk through a centuries-old forest at Bosque de Arrayanes, where a boardwalk winds between the cinnamon-colored and white-spotted trees. The arrayan trees are strange and almost otherworldly, with towering and twisted trunks and a surprising amount of branches blooming with white flowers and berries. Keep your eyes peeled for animals like pudu, the world's smallest deer species, as well as foxes, eagles, and Patagonian woodpeckers. Bosque de Arrayanes is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Villa La Angostura Edition.

A long but full of flora and nature walk. They are few MyrtleS standing, the truth is that currently they are many fallen but is a great option. Can be done by bike or walking. Very important to bring plenty of fluids, given that only you can buy once completed the journey in a tea house at a high price

Very picturesque place. Beautiful the circuit on the catwalk. Impossible to miss. Pity that led us to bullfighting and very heavy photographer to take a picture in the House (very expensive photo!).

We went on the Catamaran, the navigation is the most beautiful, we walked the catwalk 800mtrs. The views of the forest and the place are beautiful we spent a nice afternoon and time to help. Yet I average face seems the Excursion. We pay $500 each and do not get even a glass of water.

Where to stay in Villa La Angostura

Villa La Angostura's increasing popularity with winter sports enthusiasts from distant corners of the world drives up hotel room prices at the height of the ski season in July and August. Summer (November to February) is equally popular here, and most single rooms book up months in advance. Budget travelers can take advantage of economical hostels or try one of the area's campgrounds--arguably the best way to stay close to Angostura's natural attractions.
