Bosque de Arrayanes, Province of Rio Negro

(4.4/5 based on 170 reviews on the web)
Walk through a centuries-old forest at Bosque de Arrayanes, where a boardwalk winds between the cinnamon-colored and white-spotted trees. The arrayan trees are strange and almost otherworldly, with towering and twisted trunks and a surprising amount of branches blooming with white flowers and berries. Keep your eyes peeled for animals like pudu, the world's smallest deer species, as well as foxes, eagles, and Patagonian woodpeckers. Plan your visit to Bosque de Arrayanes and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Villa La Angostura vacation route planner.

  • Getting already is a fascinating experience! Comfortably you can get in on a boat trip, or well venture paddling a kayak on the blue waters, on the pedals of a bike feeling the wind in your face, either a relaxing walk along the path within the rainforest! When you get a break on the beach overlooking the Nahuel and then walk the walkways that meander between incredible amount of MyrtleS! To live it all year round!

  • The forest of Arrayanes is a small sector demarcated with gateways to which is can access by boat, in large boats full of people. To enjoy the place more and ride better not go with those groups. You can walk from Villa La Angostura by a forest having increasingly more MyrtleS until you reach the sector gateways. The section has 12, 5km by which the walk would be 25km. No doubt lead more than one liter of water by person and something to eat. It is a beautiful walk without great difficulties but it is definitely not to return if any type of physical activity is not practised during the year. The walk back from the forest seemed more enjoyable so perhaps a good chance for anyone who wants to make only 12, 5km in a day is to take the boat from ida and walk back. To one or two kilometers of the area with footbridges there is a detour in the road towards a Lake, not it visited but surely is worth it penalty go. It is a beautiful place that you can not miss.

  • We went to the forest of Arrayanes from Villa La Angostura... and despite being the fourth time that we walk through the area, it was the first time to visit the Bosque de Arrayanes. Everything is really beautiful journey of ida, as forest, the guides, the color of the water, the catamaran, everything... everything... everything just MA-RA-VI-LLO-SOOOO! An excursion to repeat many times that you can!
