Mirror Lake, Province of Neuquen

Categories: Bodies of Water, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.8/5 based on 65+ reviews on the web
Snow-capped mountains and densely forested hillside aptly reflect on the smooth surface of Mirror Lake. Of glacial tectonic origin, the water in the lake comes from streams created by runoff of snow and ice. The water is remarkably clean and calm, lapping gently at the volcanic sand beaches and rock shoreline. Hikers, mountain bikers, fishing enthusiasts, and windsurfers all frequent the scenic spot. Be sure to bring your own water and snacks, as you won't find any for sale here.
