Encompassing a landscape of blue ponds surrounded by salty plains, Laguna Brava shelters vicunas and guanacos, two of the region's endangered species. The reserve covers some 405,000 hectares (1,000,777 acres), ideal for taking 4x4 tours and snapping pictures of the otherworldly environment. • A place of incomparable beauty, with colors in their incredible, seemed pictures hills. The guanacos, vicunas flamingos pink and bird fauna. The good news is that it can be accessed with any common vehicle, 4 x 4, is not needed because that part of the road is paved and the part of gravel is in good conditions. Deserve a special place the guides of the Laguna Brava cooperariva, (without which no can be the same). Excellent attention and care both to tourists and to personal vehicles. And as a special surprise penitents who are ice formations made by the wind... Not to be missed.

  • We went to Laguna Brava hiring a 4 x 4 and leaving dde Villa Union. Is a tour of all the day where abound the landscapes impressive and difficult of put in words. Really not to be missed. We had a guide (Rudd) very informed and friendly q we allowed to see and feel the place in an incredible way. No doubt is a hidden treasure that has La Rioja and that although it is not very well promoted can be know. It is one of the most beautiful and colorful of argentina.

  • I have had the opportunity to visit Laguna Brava on 13 November, and can appreciate magnificent and breathtaking landscapes. Unfortunately and because it snowed much couldn't go to La Corona del Inca and Pissis volcano, but which could see the trip was more than compensating. The Peñón, shelters in times of Sarmiento, the lagoon, the flamingos and the fuselage of the aircraft are part of the landscape that can be seen, accompanied by the impressive arc of mountains. Absolutely recommended.
