Rocsen Museum, Province of Cordoba
(4.2/5 based on 55+ reviews on the web)
Rocsen Museum houses a large, diverse collection dedicated to man and culture, displaying over 17,000 pieces from a wide variety of disciplines and spread out over 1,530 sq m (16,469 sq ft). The museum follows the amorphous and all-encompassing motto, "The whole man for all men," represented by the 49 intricately carved statues at the entrance--all sculpted by founder Santiago Bouchon. Some may find the scale of visual information here difficult to parse, as the museum's theme is so broad and nonlinear--but paying special attention to each room will reap rewards.
