Duck into La Iglesia Catedral de Posadas for some peace and quiet in the serene interior. Built in the 20th century, the centrally located cathedral features a pink and white Neo-Gothic facade. Inside, pay special attention to the painting depicting the Holy Spirit, as well as an ornate organ imported from Germany. The history of the site dates back to the early 17th century and the beginnings of a Jesuit mission initiated by Paraguayan pastor Roque Gonzalez de Santa Cruz, who was responsible for founding several similar missions in Latin America. • Beautiful Cathedral in front of the beautifully preserved square where the entire family attends worship God and they say that when one comes to town for the first time, the first thing that you should go to visit is the Cathedral Church.

  • We heard mass in the Cathedral, the very pragmatic priest without losing the dogma, to the final salutes all the faithful in the atrium of the Church, which is architecturally very simple.

  • unless you go to mass: the place is wet, pretty bad care, not what would recommend since that is not a place with much history or art.
