Costanera, Posadas

(4.7/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
Take a stroll by the Parana River on Costanera, the city’s picturesque waterfront. The avenue is over 8 km (5 miles) long and its tranquil atmosphere draws many pedestrians and cyclists. Along the length of the promenade you can find numerous restaurants, or bring your own food and pick a spot for a picnic. The promenade also offers views of the San Roque Bridge that spans the Parana River and connects Argentina with Paraguay. During the summer months, daytime temperatures may be too high for a pleasant walk, but the promenade becomes very lively after nightfall. With our custom trip planner, Posadas attractions like Costanera can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • What a joy to walk near the water! Many excellent restaurants as a bonus! To avoid in the afternoon when the Sun is too hot.

  • Great for a walk in the evening. Beautiful view and with an excellent structure. Impossible to go until Posadas and not to fall in love with this place.

  • A big surprise the beauty level, offering public spaces and organising the Costanera. Well no rush, especially late in the afternoon (when it's less hot) to enjoy the many recreational areas and bathing in a river. Clean place, frequented by families, with beautiful landscapes.
