Túnel Subfluvial, Parana

4.0
Travel through the first underwater road in South America at Túnel Subfluvial. The tunnel was constructed in 1969 as a joint venture between the two provinces Entre Rios and Santa Fe. Prior to the construction of the Rosario-Victorian bridge, the road was the only method to cross between the provinces. Before driving through the tunnel, take the guided tour which will explain the history behind it and its construction. The guided tour also gives you a look at the control room at the end of the tunnel. It is a journey in time. After a long time I went back to pass. Is the same when opened. It is a tunnel with tiles in its whole length on the wall.

Local engineering project promoted by the two governors that give the current name, source of communication when there was no other road passage between Mesopotamia and the rest of the country, fundamental remains one of vials knots ´de great importance to Mercosur. If you will pass by the would be advisable to read a little about their history and know how it is made.

Do it is beautiful to cross from one side to the other, but they charge you $ 35 and just go out of the tunnel you got a bump and apparently they don't think to fix it and Santa Fe side lights... goes with the lights, I think all we pay our taxes and over the toll, and at night it is very very dark, who is responsible for that?

The tunnel also has a very rich history provides a very good service. They are likely to cut very low and always maintenances are carried out at times of little traffic.
