  • The visit to the city of Olta, was for a day, I loved the city, but not so services to tourists, although there is a tourist office, plaza de Olta, only delivered brochures, there are no tours, nobody knows anything, there are taxis poquitisimos, it can be traced with magnifying glass, nor remises. We wanted to find out to go to the sierra of the condors and we were told that there are no tours from there to the monolith of the Chacho Peñaloza, either, at Caminito less, dam we were but that we got a taxi driver by chance and led us but to the rush, as making us a favor. Obviously the garden of La Rioja Llanos and the province in general lacks a lot, there is to be a center of tourism and places to show and beautiful...

  • Olta is characterized by its agricultural and tourist activity and is called "Oasis de los LLanos". The area has abundant vegetation native, slopes and streams. The dam is one of the major tours of the place: a reservoir with water for irrigation of farms producing region, and sports and recreational activities. The place is very beautiful (see photos), but, unfortunately, the times that I visited had enabled bars, health, etc., that are prepared but not open.

  • Beautiful place to come up with a very picturesque walk of hills and ravines, one of the few Virgin dams not damaged or contaminated by the man.
