  • South has impressive places, one of these is "which trembles and grumbles", domuyo volcano with geysers and hot water at its base, the geyser in mapuche language must climb a little from the base, but very close, it is worth knowing this wonder, but can be reached by vehicle is best done in 4 x 4 since there is wading and rubble covers several km road There are places for provisioning, the closest to the volcano is the sheep, has camping too, very good and from there you can take different paths, Colo michi is one of them, petroglyphs, rock paintings in caves are worthy admire and learn about, is reached after a ride of a couple of hours, the base of the volcano lends itself to walks some only can be guided by its difficulty, veran, waterfalls, rivers, the atreuco drawer, all the way is priceless, having good travel and excellent trip.

  • Like all Northern Neuquén is different, a beauty with little vegetation, very high mountains but with very nice corners and very friendly people

  • It is the highest hill of Patagonia with over 4,000 m.a.s.l. Is it accessed by several faces, dejo esto for experienced climbers, since I never got. Elló requires considerable preparation, needs at least two days of approach to foot, good equipment and experienced guide. Family or groups of people not accustomed to climbing, it is possible to reach the spot Aguas Calientes (western slope) where there are 4 bungalows, which operates the Provincial Social work of public Empleads of Neuquén. He is accessed from Neuquén, Zapala (R22), Chos Malal (R40), Andacollo, LAs Ovejas, Varvarco-through and reach the olletas and water fumaroles tibiae and other boiling. There is a stretch of road after Varvarco, passing through the drawer of the Atreuco requiring ability in management and prudence. The rest is adventure. Family period, late October - end of April. Ask in Andacollo trafficability of the road through snow or mud.
