  • It is a great place to visit! An Observatory in the city of Neuquén. It is in the area of bards, 3 blocks from the plaza of the flags. Admission is pay, but very accessible (when I went to pay 50 pesos). Go on a clear day, and take into account the schedule before you go.

  • The city of Neuquén have astronomical observatory which is the astronomical Foundation and space of the southern hemisphere. It has four telescopes of composite image, which detect visible light and allows a very good observation in days (nights) cleared it is possible to observe the solar system, galaxies and distant stars. Also operates a weather station that allows to study the climate. The Astronomical Observatory is located in a high area and outside the urban area, is 300 metres from the Plaza de las Banderas. The visit is in the days with clear sky or semi clear, also there can be no strong wind, which is common here. The timetable is from 19 to 24 hours. The cost round about 50 pesos
