Where to stay in Mendoza

As the center of Argentina's wine industry, Mendoza offers plenty of conventional hostel and hotel options, as well as a good selection of short-term apartments for rent. Visitors taking language courses or spending several weeks on the wine route usually snatch these early in the tourist season (which lasts from mid-December to late-February), so it's a good idea to do some research and contact the owners before you arrive. Keep in mind that some of the town's hostels only offer beds to guests signed up for their wine tours.

  • A temple which deserves to be visited. Simple and inspiring. Good Jesuit. Don't miss the relic of father Hurtado and the ancient image of the Virgin of the good voyage of 1708.

  • Formerly to 1608 until 1767 was host to the clerical religious Institute of Pontifical right. Saves an image of the Virgin Viaje.a good which travelers asked for his blessing before departing. The temple is dedicated to the worship of the sacred heart of Jesus, in charge of the fathers Jesuits, is in the Central corner of San Martín and paseo Colon, and was founded as a place of transit for those who came and went to chile, which has a residence. It is distinctly Roman style and it is worthwhile to go to mass or visit him.
