Head to Reserva Manzano Historico and feel at peace as you’re surrounded by a lush green valley with cloud-piercing mountains as the backdrop. The reserve’s purpose is to protect and value the place where General San Martin made a rest stop on his journey back to Argentina after his emancipation. Find a monument erected in his honor perched up on a hill. Visit the museum a few meters away to learn more about the history of San Martin. The place is very visited by tourists, is ideal for a good steak, and enjoy the scenery, the singing of the birds in summer, and walk a little, and more adventurers climb a few good hills, where height is ideal for photo taking and appreciate the beauty of the place, in your camping you can camp them, they have bathrooms, although you could improve services. Now well in winter is quite cold, wear long coat and make his visit early at 17 h 30 everybody starts to go down and it becomes a bit complicated on weekends, at 18:00 close few trades. I could bring a friend couple of Brazil and liked them very much. Deserves to be visited, and try tasty regional products.!

Worth mentioning is the care and the State that are in all the monument and the cleaning and care of the property. Very interesting samples of the two museums and the attention. A landscape of breathtaking beauty

Those who love places small, picturesque and engaged in a landscape imposing, impossible to not feel desire to stay at least one night. Square, fair, the monument, the neat and clean streets, the friendliness of the people,... incredible. We will come back to visit.

Where to stay in Mendoza

As the center of Argentina's wine industry, Mendoza offers plenty of conventional hostel and hotel options, as well as a good selection of short-term apartments for rent. Visitors taking language courses or spending several weeks on the wine route usually snatch these early in the tourist season (which lasts from mid-December to late-February), so it's a good idea to do some research and contact the owners before you arrive. Keep in mind that some of the town's hostels only offer beds to guests signed up for their wine tours.
