  • The crossing of the Andes between Santiago and Mendoza is simply unmissable. I used 2 times and would go more because the landscape is completely different depending on the time of year that you make the trip. I had the opportunity to go in the summer and in the spring, so did not take excessive snow on the way, when you report that the section becomes too dangerous. It's a fascinating road for those who like to stop every curve practically with the breathtaking landscapes that are appearing in front of you. The only problem of this trip is to stop at the border when we travel the Chile for Argentina, which can take up to 3 hours depending on the movement of the road. Be sure to take pictures of the Caracoles (Chile), on the Ski Station Portillo (Chile), Puente Inca (Argentina) and stop for a coffee in Uspallata (Argentina).

  • There are times that this place is tedious, because you must wait long, because there is paperwork, but if you are lucky and there is so many people, it is just a process that it should take no more than 1 hour. Hopefully be as soon as possible, there is a, but it is not so thorough.
