Visit ORDEN DE HERMANOS MENORES FRANCISCANOS CONVENTO SAN FRANCISCO SOLANO MENDOZA, a 19th century church featuring Neo-Romanesque building lines and a facade inspired by the Trinity Church in Paris, France. Originally the Temple of San Francisco Mendoza, the structure suffered during an earthquake in 1861. Inside, find the image of the Virgin del Carmen de Cuyo, Patroness and General of the army of the Andes, as well as the baton of General Hose de San Martin. The remains of Mercedes Tomasa San Martin, daughter of the General also reside here.
