  • It has many of the personal belongings of the Liberator. Photo cannot be removed. I have to pay to enter. It has very bad lighting.

  • Sad to see how it retains of what should be part of the heritage town of Argentina. As Chilean we wanted to know something of the history of San Martín, and we have a potpourri of poorly preserved objects that supposedly belonged to the friend of the friend of San Martin. The first thing even had signs that had some cost, and when we were already in it appeared a lady telling us that we had to pay in total 60 pesos. Second: Classrooms do not have any logic, one moves forward with a box book by the Museum. And worst of all is that we ended up leaving without any hint of San Martin. FOR FA, NOT GO!

  • I could never find it open. Lousy. We were at least 3 times and nothing. Careful consideration. Mendoza usually NAP from 1 to 6 pm. Always fully closed

  • Sadly, the State of the Museum and its unique pieces of icalculable from the historical and patrimonial value. The authorities have the must be moral to improve their status. Incredible. I cannot find words.

  • The ladies pro gloria Mendoza are more anxious to show his drawings and bullshit as well having the Museum. After my visit to this pass by the foundational area Museum. There I spoke with a guide who told us that from its Museum is offered several times to help them put it in conditions but they refuse. They do not maintain it or get help. A pity. Not worth a go

  • Excellent information good attention

  • The historical elements that contains are relics of our national history, unfortunately are not sorted or displayed with the attraction they deserve. Poorly lit, the references written in small print, no guide or protection for antiques. It preserves the image of the Virgin of the Carmen who accompanied the army of the Andes... Mixed with objects without nomination 🤔😐😑

Where to stay in Mendoza

As the center of Argentina's wine industry, Mendoza offers plenty of conventional hostel and hotel options, as well as a good selection of short-term apartments for rent. Visitors taking language courses or spending several weeks on the wine route usually snatch these early in the tourist season (which lasts from mid-December to late-February), so it's a good idea to do some research and contact the owners before you arrive. Keep in mind that some of the town's hostels only offer beds to guests signed up for their wine tours.
