  • Beautiful older style wine. Well preserved and impressive by the structure and the quantity and size of casks. Walk well explained and driven, with targeted tasting. Very good walk.

  • It is a different, very very old Winery where his touch "darker" gives it that unique thing, rich wines from tasting.

  • We went to the tour guided by recommendation of Caesar, of the Highland Winery, and we found a pleasant surprise. First, be noted that we were only two people and gave us a personalized without equal. Secondly, we discover a history of moving passion for wine. Bernardo Weinert, a poet of the wine. Maximilian, in love with his work and the cellar. The tour includes the explanation of the winemaking, a stroll through different environments where the oak barrels resting where items of wine from different years (especially two which can be considered works of art), the discovery of tunnels for the winery to the main house, a tasting of two wines, and the possibility of purchase. We enjoyed every minute and are grateful for the detailed explanation and answers to all our questions. Highly recommended.

  • Tour guide didn't really answer our questions and quickly took us to the shop where we were urged to buy the "inexpensive" wines! The cellars with wooden casks are beautiful. Cask sizes and ornamental carvings worth seeing. But a bit of a tourist trap. Other wineries in the area had more to offer, like a place to sit, eat etc. This winery does not have any of its own vineyards on site. Wine tasting good price.
  • cava is amazing
  • Very nice building, the historical cellar worthy of being visited. The guide very steeped in manufacture and history of its wines. Very instructive and entertaining tasting. Very good quality of wines. Go to know!

Where to stay in Mendoza

As the center of Argentina's wine industry, Mendoza offers plenty of conventional hostel and hotel options, as well as a good selection of short-term apartments for rent. Visitors taking language courses or spending several weeks on the wine route usually snatch these early in the tourist season (which lasts from mid-December to late-February), so it's a good idea to do some research and contact the owners before you arrive. Keep in mind that some of the town's hostels only offer beds to guests signed up for their wine tours.
