  • Wonderful wine, small place and super cozy fine wines are part of the tasting.

  • The Bodega has as winemaker and one of the founders no fewer than Santiago Achaval, emblematic figure in the world of wines. Since 2011 SPI-controlled Group famous for the production of the Russian vodka Stolichnaya. Draws attention by the philosophy of respect for nature, focusing on the minimum intervention required between the soil and the plants. As told us our friendly hostess, still green grapes are harvested and thrown on the floor to help fertilization. Wines made from very old vines and low productivity. After you comment a little on the line of varietals (Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Cabernet Franc) our tasting focused on top of the House: Chimera; Finca Mirador; Finca Bella Vista. In the end still proved the Dolce made with Malbec grapes passificadas following the Italian tradition of dry the berries in the Sun it's worth it!

  • Best boutique and organic winery ever!
  • Tour uneventful, guide uninteresting. Great wines though for ordering - even offer shipping abroad. Tour & tastings overpriced (most expensive I've experienced). Absolutely beautiful grounds - can suit outside and enjoy the view of mountains and vineyards!
  • Simply amazing !
  • Come here to register my disappointment with the way the Hotel DIPLOMATIC has been performing the resolution of an unfortunate situation created by communication problems between him and the winery ACHAVAL FERRER. I bought 2 wines that were delivered to the hotel and then returned to the wine due to communication problems. Result: I went back to Brazil without the wines purchased in the certainty of the problem be solved by the hotel as there were committed. Well, this problem occurred in 2017/03/03, and to this day, 2017/04/04 with 31 days, they only made false promises that they would be resolved as quickly as possible and so far nothing!!! Monday, March 27, was the last day to give an answer and from there to here no e-mail. Have been summarily ignored by all. I deeply regret that a hotel of Diplomatic status, you want to keep your level of excellence, despite the internal problems found in their hotel rooms, has not solved something extremely simple, considering your structure and functioning. The same goes for the wine ACHAVAL FERRER who owns distributor in Rio de Janeiro and offered not to answer us getting OUR money demand to get back. I will seek legal means to resolve. Glaucia Guarany

Where to stay in Mendoza

As the center of Argentina's wine industry, Mendoza offers plenty of conventional hostel and hotel options, as well as a good selection of short-term apartments for rent. Visitors taking language courses or spending several weeks on the wine route usually snatch these early in the tourist season (which lasts from mid-December to late-February), so it's a good idea to do some research and contact the owners before you arrive. Keep in mind that some of the town's hostels only offer beds to guests signed up for their wine tours.
