  • I would give a reasonable, but it would be very unfair on my part, because the location of Achaval is beautiful, one of the most beautiful vineyards to Altamira. The reception was exceptional, too much sympathy, technical knowledge and most of the tasting were made directly in barrels of oak and it was at this point that although, the visitor loses a little in quality because the wine in the barrel is not ready yet and the taste leaves something to be desired. By having a "footprint" more Italian, the Malbec of Achaval loses a little softness of characteristic tannins of the region and becomes a bit more astringent, but that is a matter of taste. I thought the Altamira best among the tasting. Their olive oil is also excellent, the best along with the Zuccardi. The wines purchased there were cheaper than in tiendas. Recommend

  • We stayed 4 days visiting bodegas. Degustávamos in 2 bodegas, and in the last day we did lunch bodega on harmonized steps with wines. Not recommend for lunch and then continue doing tastings in bodegas. The notes will be based on comparison. 2 days in lujan de cuyo-Dominio del Plata, Achaval Ferrer, Lagarde (lunch); Terrazas de los Andes, Chandon, Vistalba (lunch) 1 day in Valle de uco-Andeluna, Salentein, Monteviejo (lunch) 1 day in maipu. Trapiche, Olivicola Laur and el Enemy (lunch) _ _ _ _//_ _ _ _ Of all the bodegas I visited was the one who found the best wine. Another important detail is that are all free of sulphite. It was also the only we could drink the wine straight from the barrel, and can ourselves doing the collection. interesting experience. the guide was also very educational. definitely worth a visit with tasting.

  • Tour uneventful, guide uninteresting. Great wines though for ordering - even offer shipping abroad. Tour & tastings overpriced (most expensive I've experienced). Absolutely beautiful grounds - can suit outside and enjoy the view of mountains and vineyards!
