Punta Mogotes, Mar del Plata

Inspirock Rating:
3.4/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web
A large complex of resorts and paved roads, Punta Mogotes developed during the 1980s on a wild landscape featuring mostly coastal sand dunes. Shops, cafes, restaurants, artificial lakes, volleyball and football courts now line the 4 km (2.5 mi) long stretch of beaches. Bring your own umbrella if you do not wish to pay for a tent. When you get tired of basking in the sun, make an appointment at one of many spas. If you need to change the scenery, take a walk to the old lighthouse. • We have been there a few times, and, other than the summer crowds, it's nice! There is actually parking there, which is hard to find sometimes!
  • the bad thing that charge you estacinamieto; If you leave it on the street you have to walk a lot, private tents occupy much of the beach that when the sea is high is little sand

  • I stay at the Hotel Sasso opposite Punta Mogotes. The paradores have not evolved over time. Note the lack of investment and conversion. A penalty. Would need renovation and change. Otherwise it is a "retro" walk in time.
