Paseo Adolfo Davila, Mar del Plata

(4.1/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web)
For panoramic views over Mar del Plata and its scenic waterfront, look no further than Paseo Adolfo Davila. Go for a walk across the bridge as you enjoy the gentle sea breeze, and pass a number of attractions and monuments, including a statue of the prominent Argentine poet Alfonsina Storni. Look for the sculpted rock face of paleontologist Florentino Ameghino, reminiscent of those seen at Mount Rushmore. The verdant, flowery hillside by the bridge makes for an excellent place to stop and watch the world go by with a cold drink. • whenever I visit the city I walk these paths, it is a ride that gives me pleasure to do view... beautiful, place to rest the legs, for fishing, and sunbathing... is colorful, cheerful and fills you lungs of oxygen and life... plus the soul of dreams... at least to my.

  • This area is one of my favorites in Mar del Plata, the landscape is beautiful: you can see the sea from the rambla, sit in a large amount of stone and wooden benches, you can go to the rocks or the beach. The bridge of the locks as well as being beautiful is a good choice to cross for a piece of the coastal Avenue.

  • Beautiful coastal walk. We can appreciate the proximity to the sea. When there are storms the force of the sea can be seen from the Hill of Santa Cecilia. Northward view are the beaches of La Perla and South is the Casino Hotel, Hotel Provincial, dock fishermen, Punta Church (there was founded the first salting which constituted the began of the economic activities in Mar del Plata).

  • A spectacular place

  • A walk with good views to the sea and the coast of the city in general. A good place to spend the afternoon or sunset since it tends to be quieter than other places or beaches.

  • Of the most beautiful of the city. And when the waves give their show. Although they sometimes tend to leave mambo ;)
