MAR Museo de Arte Contemporaneo, Mar del Plata
Categories: Art Museums, Museums
MAR Museo de Arte Contemporaneo features a series of modern art exhibits and interactive displays. Stop by the seaside museum and explore its four different rooms, which boast an array of TV screens, wall-sized works of art, and plenty of tributes to the contemporary art movement of the 1960s. Don't miss what is perhaps the museum's crowning glory out front: a statue of a sea lion made up of more than 80,000 cookie wrappers. Be sure to check the website for information regarding temporary exhibits, traveling displays, and special events.
