Aquarium, Mar del Plata

Meet a selection of sea and land animals and spend time at the beach at Aquarium. One of the largest marine parks in Argentina, the seaside site is home to dolphins, sea lions, otters, lemurs, and numerous species of fish and birds. In addition to admiring the animals from a distance, you can take part in numerous activities that will bring you close to playful dolphins and sea lions, let you scuba dive among tropical fish, or come face to face with sharks. Young visitors can take a behind-the-scenes tour and learn how the park’s residents are cared for, from feeding to training. You can purchase tickets online and use the aquarium website to put together a combination of activities to suit your family. Put Aquarium into our Mar del Plata day trip planning site and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • Very bad going to be if they were already at sea world. Very expensive all and leaves much to be desired, sights that you make to the entry are not good, they need to to be a place where you can enjoy really go.

  • The Aquarium... local shame! Short shows and expensive prices and bad attention... charge you until the air and get carbon dioxide... here to denounce these "entrepreneurs".. .in one of 3 positions of swift the Fryer was broken... the single Hamburger with bread (thank goodness!) $80... in the cafeteria they ran out of fruit salad (1 of 5 things that had to eat...) Whatttttt? February 8 Mar del Plata! I took my nephew to equally the step well... they charge you $150 parking and it is not even covered or with protection for the Sun... weeds at the edges of the paths... little capacity in birds shows... people watching from outside in the Sun with children to upa... My God if so try to those who pay... that it would be for the poor employees and the animals...

  • I went with my partner and I loved it! The place is very natural, there is lots of vegetation and gives pleasure to traverse it. The animals are very careful and many are on the loose in the Park! Something against are the prices of the food court, very expensive.

  • Very expensive and many of the exhibits were closed. We weren't allowed on the beach where our children wanted to play in the rock pools but weren't allowed. The shark section which had been heavily advertised was closed. Half of the aquariums were empty. The outside children's play area was a plastic, broken slide. The dolphin show however was very good. We complained and asked to write in the complaints book. They then provided us with a free lunch which began to make up for it but when you're paying such high prices for entry you expect more.

  • Very nice place, is preferable to go season things to see are few compared to the activity that there is during high season. The price is somewhat exaggerated for what each extra consists to the basic entry, then are $1000 pesos more for every thing. Outside of that, the end of the visit and the shows at wolves, dolphins and birds improves access to the concrete beach. The length should not exceed Temayken Park, they are similar in what corresponds loose animals, only with fewer and less attractive in some cases, but as all Park has its unique points and others to improve. The next time you restart will be during the season, even though there are people, I prefer to see more and to interact even more with the medium than it was during this experience.
