Aquarium, Mar del Plata

#4 of 10 in Zoos & Aquariums in Province of Buenos Aires
Meet a selection of sea and land animals and spend time at the beach at Aquarium. One of the largest marine parks in Argentina, the seaside site is home to dolphins, sea lions, otters, lemurs, and numerous species of fish and birds. In addition to admiring the animals from a distance, you can take part in numerous activities that will bring you close to playful dolphins and sea lions, let you scuba dive among tropical fish, or come face to face with sharks. Young visitors can take a behind-the-scenes tour and learn how the park’s residents are cared for, from feeding to training. You can purchase tickets online and use the aquarium website to put together a combination of activities to suit your family. Put Aquarium into our Mar del Plata day trip planning site and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • I know the place for many years, and this very neglected, perhaps because there is a cultural shift towards these places and people not going, but... always is a pleasure to see the animals

  • It is a park that has potential but it seems a bit neglected, perhaps in summer look better. It is a good choice to go with guys but the price is really too expensive.

  • I was the long weekend, the truth is that very expensive for what it is. All old, abandoned. The patio of meals expensive and bad food. The shows are not continued by what you have to make time to see them. Very careless. The truth that would that leave much less for the service they provide.

  • Nice views
  • Very expensive and many of the exhibits were closed. We weren't allowed on the beach where our children wanted to play in the rock pools but weren't allowed. The shark section which had been heavily advertised was closed. Half of the aquariums were empty. The outside children's play area was a plastic, broken slide. The dolphin show however was very good. We complained and asked to write in the complaints book. They then provided us with a free lunch which began to make up for it but when you're paying such high prices for entry you expect more.
  • Torture
  • Bbnnbjjkknxs joderían ghh
  • Help! Abandoned Park. Zero maintenance, there are a few animals lost out there. The entrance charge it as if it were Disney(475 pesos!!!), and eating is a luxury few at those prices... a miracle that the spectacle of the dolphins is so cute, the only and the best.
