Faro Querandi, Mar Azul

#3 of 12 in Things to do in Villa Gesell
Head to the second-highest Argentine lighthouse at Faro Querandi, built in an area once comprised entirely of dunes. To prevent erosion and protect the structure, authorities planted a forest around the lighthouse, which remains a major local landmark. Visitors can explore the structure during their trip to the beach, where swimming, barbecuing, and four-wheeling are popular activities. • If you decide to swallow a bit of sand, to shake for a while and you like nature, become a lighthouse tour. Do not take very young children. Use good Footwear and takes Hat

  • Since sea blue, it is a forced walk! It is not extreme... easy and healthy. I recommend to go early in the morning.

  • The Querandí Lighthouse is located a few kilometres from Villa Gesell. You have to access it by means of 4 x 4 or any suitable mobile. The place is interesting and I picturesque lighthouse.

  • Nice place to visit
  • Only with a 4x4 cars
  • It used to be a great place. Now you can not visit, you can not climb to the dunes, you can not go with any kind of vehicle on them. There is a place where you can make a picnic within the pre-established areas to navigate. He would not return. It is preferable that they charged a bond and provide any service

  • Target end of a beautiful journey with vehicle 4 x 4 among the dunes. Good choice for a day of wind, since the Sandhills allow you to enjoy the Sun repaired wind. Recommended for those who seek a quiet place away from the masses.

  • Beautiful place to go by truck or ATV. If you want peace and very few people. Very large, warm beaches! Nice to walk, but to take into account that up to the lighthouse are almost 11 km from blue sea! The entrance to the reserve is approximately 5 km. Also you can enter from the route through a private field passing blue sea (6 km). There they charge something since they deflate you gums for the arena and out again to inflate them. Super quiet fishing or to make toples!
