  • This Observatory is part of a project that involved 18 countries to study cosmic rays, particles originating from other galaxies and coming to Earth, as a rain - not visible. The visit is short but with very good information.

  • A few tanks forming part of the international project to capture cosmic rays can be observed in the route. The visit to the place is self guided and very interesting.

  • If raisins by Malargüe and you are interested in the science, impossible to lose is the visit to the Observatory Pierre Auger. The Observatory has an interactive exhibition with information about the Observatory, investigating, which are cosmic rays and some other things. The entrance is free, open in the morning and the afternoon. Recommended.
