Familia Zuccardi, Maipu
(4.3/5 based on 650 reviews on the web)
Familia Zuccardi has put this city on the map, as the famous market's origins stretch back to pre-Incan times. This market has maintained its strong roots to its ancient history, making it not only a destination for shopping but also for cultural experiences. The locals--Otavalenos--are known for weaving and creating products like blankets, handbags, wall hangings, and scarves. Business takes place every day, but the busiest market day is Saturday, when nearly one-third of the town fills with vendors’ stalls selling traditional textiles. Browse from among the many stalls to find a unique souvenir to take home. Familia Zuccardi is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Maipu Edition.

  • We did the tour around this traditional Winery with Argentine history, very well explained and with an excellent wine tasting, then we had lunch in bread and olive, one of the restaurants we ate rich and got to try olive oils.

  • We did lunch. The parrillada was good, but not great. The wines well harmonized. The location is beautiful, after lunch we did a walk admiring the vineyards and the landscape. Very good!

  • Awsome experience at zuccardi. Had the veni a cosechar pack with the almuerzo included and everything was perfect... from the guide who took us deep in the vineyards to cosechar to the casa del visitante restaurant wich is amazing
  • Excellent food, wine, service and setting. Loved every minute of it
  • Love the Cab made by these folks, especially for the value.
  • Very good service and explanation. The Winery is very cute and the guides are concerned about the interests and tastes of every visitor. They have no problems opening several bottles so you can taste. Very close to the Centre, there is free parking and is very picturesque.

  • Cute place. Somewhat remote and expensive. There are two options. Go to the visitors and pay $50 for a unique menu of roasted meat and wine free. Or enter 1 kilometer to the bread and olive restaurant where there are several meat-free menus.
