  • The bodega has enormous and ancient oak barrels and uses a method different from other bodegas. The visit includes the production line of bottling and storage, which is not seen in other bodegas. The wines tasted were reasonable.

  • It is one of the few wineries that does not charge the visit. The facilities are very cute and the guided very complete with a super clear explanation. You can get free tour and wait for the moment where they exit the Guide. I recommend going in the morning. After the guided tasting of wines is made and which like can be purchased in its stores. Also have a restaurant (not see).

  • Is Winery is an of the few wineries Mendoza that remain in power of the family founder. Third and fourth generation of Lopez lead their destination of production and marketing. Founded in 1898 it also keeps the building structure. It has 15 brands that sold in the domestic market by 90% and exports. The most recognized are Chateau Montchenot and Federico Lopez. It also offers services of facilities within the establishment party. It is located very close to Mendoza which makes it very accessible for your visit. Do not miss.

  • Free guided tour in English or Spanish. Free tasting of two wines. Beautiful premises. Amazing to see such an industrial production line, antique French Oak casks of 35,000L still in use, nice little museum. Highly recommended. Our tour guide was Maurizio. Highly professional, v knowledgeable, perfect English.
  • Did not visit the bodega. I did try and my experience was bad which pushed me to write this review. This bodega really makes me wonder if Mendoza deserves it's wine tourism success. Frankly it's really hard to visit bodegas on your own, opening hours are complicated on the weekend, the greeting is cold and non professional, finally the wine is not of my taste. I got rudely refused at the door by the security guy because it's closed on saturday afternoons. I think that in all other wineries I've visited in the world (a lot!) this would never happen... :(
  • Great restaurant with a very good value set menu matched with their excellent wines. The free tour and wine tasting are excellent too. A tip: don't bother with an organised wine tour to come here - the bodega is easily reachable on the tram from Mendoza.
  • Big vinyard that is nice but lacks the charm of other vinyards around
  • Their wide is nice and not so expensive, I strongly recommend the internal tour and the restaurant.
