(4.2/5 based on 150 reviews on the web)
Wine enthusiasts will love Bodega Familia Cecchin, a boutique 75 hectare (185 acre) family winery established in 1959 by Don Pedro and Jorge Cecchin. The certified organic bodega prides itself on keeping alive a long-held family tradition of doing things by hand. In addition to the usual informative winemaking tour that lets you observe the vines, grapes, and barrels, you'll be treated to a delicious meal and a glass of wine. Guided tours are in English; check the winery's schedule in advance for availability. To visit Bodega Familia Cecchin and other attractions in Maipu, use our Maipu trip builder.

  • Very good visit. It's free and only pay the tasting is optional. Good predisposition of the people of the winery. The tasting was 80, 120 and 180 pesos depending on the wines. The restaurant is something special, you have to like: under a tree, flat land between the vineyards. Excellent quality food. The more expensive menu is 4 steps including cold, hot, main dish with garnish, dessert and wine. Too much for a single person. Share between 2, one of those and a menu that is just the dish main, the lining and the wine ($280). We could not finish it. Highly recommended place to return.

  • Nice place and good service but unlike other places, the tasting is pay. Particularly I have no preference for anything "organic".
