ZOO Lujan, Lujan
(3.4/5 based on 3,200+ reviews on the web)
Pundits remain strongly divided about ZOO Lujan, often referred to as the "extreme petting zoo" or the "world's most dangerous zoo." Fans rave about the experience of getting up close to, and even touching, some of the world's most dangerous and majestic predators, especially lions and tigers. Animal rights activists slam the attraction, accusing staff of drugging the animals to make them more placid during their interactions with visitors. If you do decide to visit, take extreme care and remember to treat the animals with respect. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Lujan holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the ZOO Lujan and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • So, when I decided with some friends go to Argentina, in all sites speak to visit the Zoo. I was against it from the start and my friends too. However, as we walked to do some shopping, we were approached by a young woman, even brazilian, in offering packages of tours and tango. Then we came to a conclusion: how to judge without knowing? Then we went to see up close. I felt bad at all times. Since the input to the output. And I confess that I rolled a few tears. I found the small cages, and the "wild" animals are kittens or dogs trained. When I saw the lion doing the same moves during the entire time for people to take pictures ... our.. cut my heart. I personally didn't like it. They sleep and get soft. A small cage for two bears and a backyard pool for some seals. Has professional photographers and you can buy the photos later. Also has a restaurant inside and the food was very tasty.

  • Immense grounds outdoors, where you can see animals that were raised since childhood by people. Despite being in captivity are comfortable and well looked after.

  • If you are lover of cats is a wonderful walk, the place is big and there are several animals, maximum attraction are the cats, beautiful place we had the opportunity to be with them and get us photos. Not think that are doped as any people criticizes, only are very accustomed to them humans, I would like to that had more space which are in them cages since the place is quite large, from buenos aires down is in the station of the subway plaza Italy, there crosses and tomas a micro, the number 57 that you leaves at the front of the zoo charge the card in the metro with 100 Argentine pesos so reaches for the trip and return to the zoo. Any questions on here I am greetings
