Trip Planner: South America / Argentina / Central Argentina / Province of Buenos Aires / Lujan / ZOO Lujan
Pundits remain strongly divided about ZOO Lujan, often referred to as the "extreme petting zoo" or the "world's most dangerous zoo." Fans rave about the experience of getting up close to, and even touching, some of the world's most dangerous and majestic predators, especially lions and tigers. Animal rights activists slam the attraction, accusing staff of drugging the animals to make them more placid during their interactions with visitors. If you do decide to visit, take extreme care and remember to treat the animals with respect. To visit ZOO Lujan and other attractions in Lujan, use our Lujan online trip maker .

ZOO Lujan Reviews
O lugar é bom, mas não vale a pena o passeio. Passa o sensação que os bichos não são bem cuidados. Todos os animais estavam tristes... Não vale a pena a visita. more »The place is good, but not worth the ride. Passes the sensation that bugs are not well taken care of. All animals are sad. Not worth the visit.
Unico Zoo en el pais donde te podes sacar fotos con leones, tigres, elefantes, papagayos, etc, ideal para quienes les gustan los animales. more »The only Zoo in the country where you can take pictures with Lions, Tigers, elephants, parrots, etc., ideal for those who like animals.
Foi uma ótima escolha a visita. A estrutura em geral é simples e o zoológico não tem tantos animais como outros, como Temaikén por exemplo. Mas a experiência de passar a mão e alimentar leões, tigres,... more »Was a great choice. The general structure is simple and the Zoo does not have as many animals as others, such as Temaikén for example. But the experience of touching and feeding lions, Tigers, elephants and llamas is unique, is very worthwhile. (Note: to get in the cages of the Tigers and lions have to be above 18 years old). Indico! The place also has snack bars, parrillas, pool (free-requires only that between con bathing suit), Zoo, train ride free ride Pony and as an exhibition of vintage cars-tractors, locomotives etc. Note: in all the cages in which they have interaction with the animals, they ask you to leave a contribution. Cost of entry (February values/2018 | 2 years above): air $600 not to $300 for AIR/Argentine residents with DNI or precarious/$250 AIR for residents with DNI jubilados and with the flesh.
Contrary to the idea, the zoo is not a huge one... But the best thing about it is you can take pictures with tigers and Lions and can touch and feed other animals too... Overall a great experience indeed.
The zoo is quite odd, but I loved getting to pet the big cats!
I hope one day all these people who gave 5 stars and give money for this animal abuse and exploitation institution come out from their giant buble of ignorance and understands that this is a crime. And I really hope they understand that they are responsible for that abuse with these poor animals just to feed their stupid vanity and futility. See magnificent wild animal been treated as a domestic pet is sad, not natural and an abuse for their nature. If you like to see it you DON'T LIKE ANIMALS AT ALL. You are just a giant selfish ignorant who is financing an animal abuse crime!
Lovely animals, very clean place nice restaurant, delicious food
zoo is to flee. It drug of the animals, attaches them to chains for the pleasure of sadists. Flee this zoo! Or condone animal maltreatment
