ZOO Lujan, Lujan

3.6
#1 of 10 in Things to do in Lujan
Pundits remain strongly divided about ZOO Lujan, often referred to as the "extreme petting zoo" or the "world's most dangerous zoo." Fans rave about the experience of getting up close to, and even touching, some of the world's most dangerous and majestic predators, especially lions and tigers. Animal rights activists slam the attraction, accusing staff of drugging the animals to make them more placid during their interactions with visitors. If you do decide to visit, take extreme care and remember to treat the animals with respect. To visit ZOO Lujan and other attractions in Lujan, use our Lujan online trip maker .

  • We did the tour in December. We can't say it's a Zoo, he's more of a farm. Animals at least on my visit were all asleep that is intriguing. It is possible to carry out the visit yet in the cages but note that animals are not hunted or sleepy were surprised our visit. Went on a Wednesday was very empty, the place and normal a little bad care. Pay 500 pesos to enter. In 1 30 h it is possible to scroll through the whole Park.

  • Huge farm that is home to several wildlife and wild. Repellent to pass go. Main attractions are the photos with lion cub, lion and Tiger adult adult. If you want to keep the true image of these bugs, happy and "aggressive" in your habitat, don't do this tour.

  • Despite the controversy, the Zoo is a tour not to be missed and we will offer you a unique and unforgettable experience! Have the opportunity to stand next to a lion is really exciting! We got lucky, we went on a rainy day and wasn't so full, we were able to take advantage of all the animals and no line! Not to be missed!

  • I hope one day all these people who gave 5 stars and give money for this animal abuse and exploitation institution come out from their giant buble of ignorance and understands that this is a crime. And I really hope they understand that they are responsible for that abuse with these poor animals just to feed their stupid vanity and futility. See magnificent wild animal been treated as a domestic pet is sad, not natural and an abuse for their nature. If you like to see it you DON'T LIKE ANIMALS AT ALL. You are just a giant selfish ignorant who is financing an animal abuse crime!
  • Great zoo, the people that work here are all really personable. You can take amazing photos here too
  • Good option if a picture with a tiger or a lion is a must on your bucket list. Otherwise a very sad place to visit.
  • Great zoo! Small, but the interaction we have with animals is priceless!!! Before going, I heard that animals were sedated, but that's not true!!! They are raised in the zoo since they're babies and are used with people. There are even dogs living in the tiger and lion cages as they grew up together!!! This zoo is definetely a MUST SEE!!!! No where else you'll have this amazing interaction!
  • very lonely and sad on weekdays. you must be 18+ to pet the adult lion.
