  • Next to the Church of San Benito, Abbey (Av. Luis Maria Campos and Gorostiaga) is located. It was the residence of the Benedictine monks in the Decade of the 1920s. The building remained closed for years, and it was restored and reopened as a cultural center in October 2015. Eclectic style. With a green lung in its central courtyard, from which the arches of the arcades of the cloisters may be considered. Both the arches and the capitals are in the Romanesque style. Benedictine monks inhabited it since its construction until they moved to Luján in the 1970s. Currently, boasts an art exhibition centre, rooms testing for children's orchestras, an auditorium with capacity for more than one hundred people and a library with about three thousand books. The Abbey, art and Latin American Studies Center, you can go from Tuesdays to Sundays from 12 to 20 hours admission is free.

  • I was guest with the Benedictine brothers. The retreat experience is unique: silence, prayer (the Divine Office is prayed), largely in Gregorian chant, very sober but healthy and tasty food. Removal is fruitful for those wishing to an experience of deep spirituality, conceived and orada. Not for vacation. Manicured parks and simple dependencies (by Evangelical poverty that must have an Abbey). Friday mass is entirely in latin and Sung: beautiful to return to the roots of the Church. Recommended for all who look for sincere peace and spirituality.

  • Removal is unbeatable, beautiful place with an impeccable attention from the Benedictine community, the bedrooms with private bathrooms and equipped for q stay becomes a pleasant. The costs to the extent of the possibilities of each, maximum $500 per day all included, but the q can not pay equally welcome. Remember that it is for men and is to meditate and reunited with God.

  • A simple Church of simple lines, materialized with few elements but with strong imprint. From its exterior volume to your altar in red and pink granite parts marked a strong contrast between the purity of white and the color of the furniture escazo. I recommend you to visit the schedule of any religious ceremony. #LetsGuide #LocalGuidesConnect
