#8 of 46 in Wineries in Mendoza
Sample delicious wines at Bodegas Nieto Senetiner, a leading winery with a history dating back to 1888. Established by Italian immigrants, the estate preserves the secrets of the winemaking process passed down from one generation to the next. Take a tour of the facility, starting with a stroll through the vineyards, then onto the winery itself to learn about the fermentation process, and finally to the tasting room, where you'll have a guided tasting of three of the wines made on site. Bodegas Nieto Senetiner is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Mendoza Edition.

  • Incredible: very good explanation with tasting... but what was even more incredible was the lunch: for quality of their meat, by attention to the steps with consistent wine and place: without a doubt "the best barbecue I ate in my life"! my daughter is vegetarian and immediately prepared him a menu. In my life I ate ceviche.. .no I di tells that it was fish... prepared in a tasty, well seasoned, sensational way the gual than rabbit, empanadas and later different cuts of meat, cannot be put in words the quality of this lunch. A unique experience.

  • The place is beautiful. A very old and beautiful Winery... It has a nice view to the mountain. The girl who gave us the tour did very well, but the Group's visit was very large so she tried to make their voices heard as he could. Groups should already be smaller but not enjoying equal. We did all guided tours of winery Winery bike, so we got to grandson very thirsty... and when we ask for water they offered us a bottle very amanlemente, but we were a large group of people, and returning to ask not denied it us but it was not well c OMO said one of the girls who worked there. We were disappointed since it is a winery of high level that it seems that they will save in guides and water.

  • Very Nice winerie in the area! Producing unique wines and exclusive wines, Try the Late Harvest Malbec! Almost like a good Port-wine.
  • Beautiful bodega and the 7 course bbq lunch was amazing. The pork loin was my favourite. Their malbec was our favourite of all those we had in Mendoza, but we liked their blend even better.
  • Very nice bodega in the Lujan de Cuyo region. The asado (bbq) was great and the people offered great service. The wine is very nice also, being a medium prized wine of Argentina. Would definately visit again!
  • Great experience! Excellent wines and a very nice lunch with a great view of the Cordillera de los Andes. The staff was very friendly.
  • The best vineyard with exquisite cousine and horse rides around the vinegrapes. a plus with the andes for witness around. The best experience in eno tourism @ Mendoza. The attention is superb.

Where to stay in Mendoza

As the center of Argentina's wine industry, Mendoza offers plenty of conventional hostel and hotel options, as well as a good selection of short-term apartments for rent. Visitors taking language courses or spending several weeks on the wine route usually snatch these early in the tourist season (which lasts from mid-December to late-February), so it's a good idea to do some research and contact the owners before you arrive. Keep in mind that some of the town's hostels only offer beds to guests signed up for their wine tours.
